Rainbow 6 Jackpot Reaches $307,116 for Stakes-Filled Saturday
Five Graded-Stakes Worth $600,000 in Purses on 11-Race Program

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Yet to be solved through the first 10 days of the 2018-19 Championship Meet, the 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a jackpot carryover of $307,116.72 for Saturday's stakes-filled program at Gulfstream Park.

Two horses were live to take down the jackpot heading into Friday’s 10th race finale, won in front-running fashion by 80-1 long shot Marcelino ($169.20). A total of $174,325 was bet into the popular multi-race wager, adding to a carryover of $265,298.40 from Thursday’s program.

Tickets with five of six winners Friday were worth $472.52.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence spans Races 6-11 and includes four of the five graded-stakes worth $600,000 in purses that highlight the 11-race program, which begins with a noon first post – the $100,000 Rampart (G3) in Race 8, $100,000 My Charmer (G3) in Race 9, $100,000 Sugar Swirl (G3) in Race 10 and $200,000 Fort Lauderdale (G2) in Race 11.

Also on Saturday’s card is the $100,000 Harlan’s Holiday (G3), featuring the graded-stakes return of Florida Derby (G1) Audible, in Race 5.

There will also be a carryover of $13,135.88 in the $1 Super Hi-5 for Saturday’s opener.

Rainbow 6 Carryover: $307,116.72
